I broke a mirror, a big mirror.
Not totally big, but big enough to give me 14 years of bad luck instead of 7.
Here's the end result of the story:

The adventures of a distracted college student
The Last Song
By: Nicholas Sparks
Probably on of the best books EVER.
I never knew I could cry so much over a book.
Last Sunday I could not let go of this book, I read it all in one day.
Jackie gave me some "alone time" because I guess I was sniffling or something.
Well, once she left I was bawling.
I couldn't even believe that I cried so much.
But I didn't feel so bad after roommate after roommate read it and shed a few tears.
Ok, maybe just one tear, if that.
BUT, if anyone wants a good movie, go see this one ^.
I love it, it was pretty funny and very cute!!
Next up on my reading list:
Dear John
By: Nicholas Sparks
It was sitting on my desk when I got home.
My roommates and I are going through some reading phase.
It's crazy, everyone is constantly reading and switching books.
(Don't worry, I'm still going to the library to read the boring books too!)
So long for now, time to go start my new book!!
But on the brighter side of things, this was what was waiting in my room when I got home for Christmas break(which was not long enough). I loved the Texas tree! And I even got ornaments to decorate one of my trees like this one for next year!!
And finally, this is one of the projects I did when I was home. I couldn't think of anything to give Jackie for her birthday until I had t-3 days until I got back to Provo. I have this wonderful flannel blanket that I got from when I graduated HS. I love it and use it all the time. But whenever I'm gone and it's cold, Jackie always steals it and puts it on her bed, so I decided to make her one. Thanks to my mom we were able to put it together extremely fast. I set it up in the living room and had all the Christie boys help me tie it, we pretty much finished it in one day! She said she likes it-and it's been on the top of her bed everyday. Success!!
Soon (hopefully) I will be blogging my 2010 resolutions so maybe I'll have more motivation to keep them!!
I really like this picture!!
Sometimes I really hate this, like right now.
Being home was amazing.
I loved playing, sewing, watching tv, etc.
And now I'm in school.
It's been an extremely overwhelming week.
UNTIL I went to my religion class-History of the Living prophets.
This is what my professor decided to show today.
Coincidence?
I think not.
So here I am to go back into the whirlwind of school trying to learn to love my major again even though I currently am not loving my classes.
So here's to hoping for a good year!
Cute right??
So one day after class I was walking home with my BFF Bre. When I got home I realized my earring was gone, I was so so sad. But I had no idea where I lost it so I just figured I would need to find another pair of earrings that I love.
So forgot about losing my earring, had Thanksgiving Break, partied, etc.
I park in the same place everyday because of work(a blog will come soon about that).
So about a week and a half later I'm walking back to my car after class with Jackie, who happened to be there when I was crying about losing my earring.
So I'm at my car which happened to be parked by a light post.
I looked down and on the light pool post someone had put my earring there!!!
Can you believe it?!
I was thrilled, I almost cried.
I love BYU and the fact that people there are so generous to pick up an earring and put it up so some poor soul can be reconnected.
So stranger who placed my earring on that light pole post-
Thank you!!
Great story, right?!
