AMAZING!!!

Get ready. This is by far the best story EVER (that I will ever have to tell!) So for those of you that don't know, I love earrings. I'm obsessed with them and I am constantly looking for new ones. But for the time being I have this one favorite pair of earrings. Cute right?? So one day after class I was walking home with my BFF Bre. When I got home I realized my earring was gone, I was so so sad. But I had no idea where I lost it so I just figured I would need to find another pair of earrings that I love. So forgot about losing my earring, had Thanksgiving Break, partied, etc. I park in the same place everyday because of work(a blog will come soon about that). So about a week and a half later I'm walking back to my car after class with Jackie, who happened to be there when I was crying about losing my earring. So I'm at my car which happened to be parked by a light post. I looked down and on the light pool post someone had put my earring there!!! Can you believe it?! I was thrilled, I almost cried. I love BYU and the fact that people there are so generous to pick up an earring and put it up so some poor soul can be reconnected. So stranger who placed my earring on that light pole post- Thank you!! Great story, right?!

Can I just tell you my roommate, Jackie, is hilarious.

Every day we have new adventures. Sometimes they're room dancing adventures but the best are when I turn around to see this: Meg's mom brought over costumes for us to try and brought us the big booty costume. lucky for me I don't need a costume for that! But, what's even greater than this picture is the video I took when Jackie did All the Single Ladies dance by Beyonce. It was hilarious. I would post the video, but I think the picture is enough. Another reason why Jackie is one of my favorites: Seriously, look at that hair. There's a lot. I know. I find hair everywhere. But she had to do a fashion show for her cousin and they made her hair HUGE. That was her hair in a bun, she had to use a headband to contain the wild beast. it was the highlight of my week. But beyond Jackie's weird costumes, crazy hair and other things she is by fair the best roommate ever. We do everything together and just can't figure out why we don't get frustrated with each other!!

a little note-I actually did this like a moth ago..i'm just slow at posting!! I finally cooked! I haven't really cooked here yet because I just don't really like it. I like cooking at home in my mom's kitchen! And by cook I mean bake delectable treats. I made a pumpkin pie a couple weeks ago for my friend's birthday. Apparently he's had a pumpkin pie forever and this was the first year he didn't have one. So I made him a pumpkin pie for a belated birthday present! But I only wanted one pie. Which is kinda hard to do when you buy that huge can of pumpkiness. So I made one pie and left the rest of the mixture in the fridge for a couple days while I tried to figure out a recipe that uses half a pumpkin pie mix. I didn't want pumpkin pie. So I found a recipe that looked exactly like my mom's dump cake, with pumpkin. It was amazing. So I just started dumping and it was delicious! I have no idea how much butter or stuff I used, but it was good. Believe me, this picture just doesn't do it justice at all. You should try it. Just get a cake mix, pumpkin pie and butter. YUM.

Let me tell you about my awesome find the other day. Get excited. I decided I needed to get some more flannel sheets because mine were just old so I threw them away last year. It was a sad day. BUT I went to target and was overwhelmed with happiness. I found two sets of twin sheets for $20. I made my bed right when I got home. So you may not be as excited about this find as I was, but let me tell you, it was awesome. And I convinced my roommate to buy flannel sheets too, her life will never be the same. She loves me forever now.

I bought this zebra fabric for my original Halloween costume, you know the one I didn't use. Any ideas for what to make with 2 yards of zebra fabric??

i love fall. Why is it that I feel like I have never experienced fall until now? Maybe I was just oblivious, I wouldn't put it past me. But I just love the fall activities! jumping into piles of leaves. cute fall jackets. wearing my cowboy boots. caramel apples. Yep, we made caramel apples.
