Movie Day

So for those of you who don't know my last week was awesome. I finished school, work and got moved out of my apartment. All in all...it was so great! So to celebrate my friend Megan and I decided to have a day of fun. (BTW-Megan is going to be my roommate next year & the one who broke her foot)
So I thought of this AMAZING idea. We decided we didn't want to spend a lot of money so went from there. We decided to spend all day in the dollar theatre! It was so great. We watched one movie the night before since we couldn't stay there all night Friday because of her mom's birthday.
We watched movies, then went to lunch at Cafe Rio where I had a free meal! It was a very cheap and fun day!

My New Obsession

Yep-it's mascara.
I've never been one to admit that I have addictions or an obsession with something, but I will today. For some reason the past couple of months I've been obsessed with trying new mascara. Everytime I go to the store I buy a new tube of mascara, I just want to find the absolute best mascara. But last night when I was packing I found out I had four tubes in my make-up bag. But don't worry, I use them all regularly, I pretty much switch out every day. So far my favorite is L'oreal. But I really want to try Covergirl's Lashblast mascara:I know it's pretty sad.

Summer Goals

So I've been thinking about summer and how I always say I'm going to do something but never do. Every summer my mom told me to pick a project and stick to it or I would regret it....well mom, you win, i regret it. This summer goes out to all the hobbies i decided NOT to do because I was too lazy. So here's the list:
1-read all the books that I've been hearing about over the semester but can't because of school(I'm even having my friend who broke her foot make me a list!) 2-try to make a dent with all the pictures I want to scrapbook(i made a little one last summer!) 3-learn the piano AGAIN, my goal is to be able to sit down and just start playing, not plucking. But, if any of you are wondering out of the 5 Nuttall children only one of us can really play, congrats lauren-you win. But Alli's in close second, then maybe me?! 4-learn to sew AGAIN, yes, this is a recurring summer goal, but I now have a goal of what to sew, a quilt. After seeing Kelli & Steph's blogs about all the cute stuff they make I just get really inspired to go make something like that, but then i remember i have no idea how to... 5-learn ASL(american sign language). I'm taking that class in the fall and I want to be super prepared in that class and not be totally lost on the first day! (yes, I still get extremely nervous on the first day of school) 6-stop my addiction with diet coke and any soda for that matter. 7-lately i've been running a lot...it's a stress reliever. so i was sitting in class the other day and decided i wanted to run to the lake and all around the lake and not die. i'm excited for this one, maybe i can even convince lauren to come with me. at least i'll have sam! So those are my summer goals. Feel free to call/text/comment/facebook/etc. me over the summer to see if i've even started any of them. I'm excited for this, and maybe if i know more people know about my goals than i'll actually do them!

I'm a graduate...

of Traffic School! Yes, that's right, I had to take traffic school. I learned my lesson, $217 later. I will no longer be a speeder on I-15 and will try to leave my house earlier each day to be on time. But let me tell you, if anyone has the option of doing traffic school...do it. It's worth it. It was only 2 hours which was a perfect time period between my classes to do it in just one day. But, I wouldn't recommend trying to get a ticket in order to go to traffic school...it's not that much fun. But I am proud of myself for being a graduate of something this year. haha.
A proud graduate with a Traffic School Completion Certificate.

Summer

SUMMER noun-the period of finest development, perfection, or beauty previous to any decline: the summer of life. So today something that I thought was pretty interesting happened. I was talking to one of my friends and told them what I was doing for the summer. This is basically what I said: "I'm going home ALL summer and I'm so excited. My plan is to not get a job and just hang out!" (Don't worry parents-I'll get some sort of a job) BUT-this was the response. How can you stay at home for four months without going insane. And these are the pictures that flashed through my head while I was thinking of a response:
Road Trips!!
Frontier City!
Finding things to do that get me in trouble... even though I'm 20!!
This dog & boy & boat!!
4th of July & bre & sunburns
tubing!!
drawing with chalk!!
the slide & the pool
the boat & Jimmy John's && SAMPSON!!
& of course-daddy getting 1 year older!! So to answer that question: I can never be bored at home. There is always something to do there! So if you're ever bored and want to do something fun, come to Oklahoma and we'll show you a good time!!

poor phones...

If you like your phone...don't trust it with me. Let's just say the Nuttall family doesn't have good history with phones, well-at least some of us! I'll admit that Taylor and Meredith are pretty good with their phones. Here's the life of Nuttall phone's that I can remember:
Dad: 1 phone went into the "bunny hole" (courtesy of Alli) another phone went on a little swim with him. Mom: 1 phone fell into a cup of diet coke, at least it got that & another got smashed in the car door. Lauren: 1 phone thrown into her computer, etc. Trust me-Lauren probably goes through the most phones now, but I don't really know what she does to them!! Me: 1 phone tragically fell into the toilet, 1 got lost, 1 was left on the boat hitch & fell off, and got smashed, 1 went swimming, 1 got crushed by about 9 cars, etc. I know this is sad...but I honestly don't know how many phones I've gone through. But no worries- I always have a trusty back up phone: Oh yah...be jealous!! But here's the most recent story: I was out last Saturday with my lovely grandpa. As I was putting his cadillac in my car I left my phone on top of my car(Horrible idea). About a mile later I realized I didn't have my phone. It was NOWHERE. So we were driving and then I see it in the middle of a crosswalk..where cars kept driving over it. It was sad. But I parked in a parking lot and grabbed it so I could at least get the sim card. So now I have two wonderful phones, one water damaged and one smashed, surely I can get at least one good phone out of that right!?
