What have I been up to lately? Well besides school and more school not too much! But a few weeks ago( I know, huge blog neglect) I went to India Fest! Below are some friends from freshman year + a roommate of a friend. Thalassa, me, courtney, ....(i'm really bad with names, especially because i've heard a million names in the past month, sorry), and stacey! 
It was held at the Indian temple in Springville where they also have the Festival of Colors. For some reason I have yet to grace the festival of colors with my presence. I think it's because I was scared when I was little at an actual real festival of colors in India. All I remember from that tragic day is my sister, Lauren, and I in the corner crying because we got paint in our eyes. Sad day.

Isn't the background so pretty?!We never see each other anymore since we live 8 blocks away from each other...that's a lot in Provo! haha. Below is an elephant...Too bad it's not real, oh well. When I go to India I'll take a picture with a real elephant, whenever that is.

But-back to India Fest. I'll just be frank, it was weird but fun! I went into the temple and watched as a million BYU students joined in the middle of the floor dancing around in a circle, I may or may not have joined in. But, of course before joining in, I was sure to take a picture of my friends in the circle!
Then after the crazy dancing in the temple we went outside and listened to the story about India people. Unfortunately I don't remember anything else about the story to share with you...sorry, i know you feel like you're missing out. But they burned this big effigy of this guy and it was pretty fune. The fire was huge and it was crazy loud, below are the pictures.
And after that...there was more dancing outside! It was pretty fun. Especially the singing, they sang the same song every time just to different tunes, pretty funny! 
And then we got to see llamas! There were so many llamas, so funny!
So there's one activity out of many for me, yay! Hopefully more blogging to come, for now enjoy!!
